Recommended Preparation: ENGL& 101. Prerequisites: ENGL 095 or placement in ENGL& 101. Film interpretation is a survey course providing the student with a solid background in written, structural analysis and appreciation of film as an art form. All of the elements that make up the film experience are examined, including the contributions of producers, scriptwriters, directors, actors, cinematographers, editors and designers. 4 lecture hours; 2 lab hours. Satisfies humanities distribution area B requirement or specified elective for the AA degree.
