Prerequisites: SPAN 203 or equivalent and SPAN 321 or HIST 365. This course offers an introduction to women's writing in Latin America, focusing on narrative productions of the 20th century. We will discuss issues such as feminine representation and identity, women's perspective and subjectivity through the reading and analysis of contemporary texts by Latin American women.
