Prerequisites: SOWK 525 or SOWK 561 Advanced Standing Seminar. This course helps students plan and design an applied research project that addresses a policy- or practicerelated question that is relevant to the practice community or agency in which the student serves as an intern. Students will learn how to conceptualize community-based projects that enhance service delivery. This process includes proposal development and literature review. The project will be implemented in the subsequent research course, SOWK 526.
