Prerequisites: All courses in physical therapy are restricted to students accepted into the program. The role of physical therapy in health care will be discussed. Speakers will present information on health care delivery, contrasting urban and rural areas. Community agencies, clinical decision making/ ethics and the role of other health care professionals will be introduced. Leadership/advocacy issues will be addressed as they relate to these topic areas.
