SPRING Prerequisites: CPLA 120 or the equivalent, CSBS 320. An introduction to the use of the computer package SPSS in the statistical analysis of data. Topics include describing the distribution of a single variable, graphing variables, organizing multivariate data and testing hypotheses with t-test, the analysis of variance, regression and selected nonparametric tests. Factor analysis and discriminant function analysis are also introduced.
