FALL/WINTER This comprehensive course is designed to educate potential group exercise and personal training instructors. The content will include human anatomy, anatomical and mechanical kinesiology, exercise physiology, nutrition, weight control, special populations, fitness testing, health screening, exercise prescription, legal duties and proper handling of emergencies. Students will also gain practical experience in group fitness class instruction and practical experience toward becoming a personal trainer. Upon completion of this course, students will be better prepared to take the ACE national group fitness and personal training certification exams and design a safe and effective class.
