Prerequisites: RCLS 220. WINTER/SUMMER This course teaches advanced leadership and facilitation skills for group initiatives and team building activities. This course covers topics that are vital to the framework for developing team building and group facilitation programs and sessions. Topics discussed include selection of appropriate challenge activities to meet the needs of a specific group, understanding group dynamics, group goal setting and assessment, sequencing, framing, debriefing techniques and leadership considerations for individual and co-leader facilitation. Fieldwork is part of the course requirements.
