FALL Prerequisite: HLED 201 or permission of the instructor. This class is a study of international health, on how it is defined and its historical roots. Discussion will focus on major international health issues and debates on policies and practices. Also, key contemporary issues involving disease control, primary health care, child survival, essential drugs and health policies will be examined critically.
