Prerequisite: Admission to the MOT program and successful completion of all course work in the professional curriculum to this point. This course will provide the learner with the opportunity to identify, evaluate and critically analyze the psychometric properties and application of the most commonly used evaluation and assessment tools by practitioners in the profession of occupational therapy. The course offers learners with information and experiences in analyzing the assessment need, critical selection of appropriate evaluation tools to address the assessment need, pragmatic application of the tools on a human subject, interpretation of data and conceptualizing the development of intervention goals based on the evaluation results.
