Graded Pass/No Credit. Prerequisite: Admission to the MOT program and successful completion of all course work in the professional curriculum to this point. This is the first of three courses designed to introduce the student to evidence based practice and the process of critical inquiry. This course will be offered in an interdisciplinary format with the Department of Physical Therapy. These courses will prepare the student to become a knowledgeable consumer of research and the professional literature as it relates to the practice of occupational therapy. In this course the student will develop competence in identifying, locating, retrieving, understanding and applying the principles of research to the practice of occupational therapy.
