SPRING Introduction to athletic training is a basic course designed to introduce the profession of athletic training to students who are interested in pursuing athletic training as a professional career choice. Students will be introduced to the following areas that encompass the athletic training field: athletic training as an allied health profession, current educational requirements for national practice, emergency planning and procedures and environmental concerns. Hands-on experiences may include common wrapping, taping and bracing techniques.
