Prerequisites: Graduate standing. This course is intended to enable participants in Mathematics Department-sponsored professional development programs to receive graduate credit through additional study. Specific course requirements will be tailored to the particulars of the professional development program but will include a minimum of one major and one minor research and writing assignment related to the development of content knowledge for the teaching of mathematics. May be repeated for a maximum of 3 total credits.
