Prerequisites: EDUC 304, 310. A course designed to provide classroom teachers an opportunity to revisit current reading instruction methodology, examine new research including brain research impacting instruction and explore meaningful ways in which reading instruction may be infused and integrated within content areas of the curriculum. Teacher assessment and student selfassessment as means to inform teaching and learning will be an additional focus of the course.
