Prerequisite: Admission to UWSOD Introduction to clinical dental education. Students will participate in classroom and clinical exercises that lead to integration of didactic and clinical skills. This course will focus on developing the qualities of a professional and the introduction of the process of care with an emphasis on assessment. Students will practice professional, communication, teamwork and instrumentation skills necessary for the practice of dentistry. Basic techniques are introduced and practiced on dentoforms and peer partners.
