Prerequisite: Admission to the dental hygiene graduate program AND completion of an undergraduate statistics or biostatics course. This course focuses on critical reading, understanding and evaluation of the professional literature. Students learn how to access information electronically in order to make evidence-based decisions that contribute to the development of best practices. Grant writing is included to prepare students for the various components of a thesis.
