Course fee. This course includes preparation for and testing of Computer Literacy I and II so that students may satisfy Computer Literacy requirements by taking this course and passing the literacy tests. This course introduces students to fundamental computer concepts designed to give an overview of computers, the Internet and The World Wide Web. Students will develop knowledge and skills in word processing, presentation software, spreadsheets, databases, web page creation and locating informational and reference materials using simple and refined Internet searches. No previous computer background is assumed.
