FALL Prerequisite: Senior standing or permission of the instructor. This course examines the actions and values responsible for continuous improvement in the design, development and management process of an organization's supply system through the use of writings and case studies which may include company visits. The objective of the course is to understand how to improve the supply system's profitability and ensure its survival as well as the profitability and survival of its customers and suppliers. Global issues and development of supplier relationships are integrated throughout the course material. Cases and field trips are included as appropriate.
