SPRING Prerequisites: CHEM 353 and 421, or permission of the instructor. This course is an in-depth study of modern analytical techniques used in the structural analysis of organic compounds. This course will comprise both theory and practical experience with the instruments. Topics covered include UV, IR, NMR, mass spectrometry and chromatography. This is a laboratory course with lecture included.
