SPRING Prerequisites: CHEM 304, 316 and 352 (or concurrent), or permission of the instructor. This course includes a detailed study of atmospheric, soil, water and waste water chemistry. Aspects of environmental/analytical chemistry will be introduced. Laboratory work will cover aspects of sampling, instrumental and automated analysis and regulatory requirements. Students will concentrate in the area of their particular interest, leading to a comprehensive written research report and presentation. Laboratory work is included.
