FALL/WINTER Prerequisite: ACCT 251. Provisions and principles of federal income tax laws affecting the determination of taxable income, tax liability and tax planning for individuals. Dual MBA/MPA Degree Program A dual-degree program is available with the Master of Public Administration (MPA) program. This dual-degree program combines the requisite supervisory and administrative education for career advancement in either the public or private sectors and bridges the regulatory and supplier aspects of business and government relationships. Those enrolling in the dual-degree program must be admitted through the Graduate Studies Office and by both the MBA program and the Graduate program in Public Administration (MPA). The student also must have satisfied the undergraduate background (prerequisite) course requirements of both programs at the time of entry or soon thereafter. Students interested in the specific requirements of this dual-degree program must contact either the MPA program director at 509.358.2247 or the MBA program director at 509.358.2270 to be advised in advance of consideration for admission.
