Students gain practical experience in designing and managing E-Business web applications as they work in teams to create database-driven web sites. Topics of study will include utilization of .NET and/or JSEE framework via C# and/or Java, advanced database integration with SQL stored procedures, server-side scripting, and server security. Special attention will also be paid to managing commercial transaction in a secure manner. Students will work in teams and with outside sources to implement their final E-Business solutions. Prerequisite(s): Completion of either BIT 285 or BIT 260 with a grade of 2.0 or higher, or instructor permission.
