NS - This is the second quarter in a three-quarter sequence for pre-nursing majors. It will cover in detail the study of the functioning and interrelationships of the organ systems of the human body using computer software and lab exercises. Topics will include a study of homeostasis, cytology, feedback mechanisms, and the function and relationship of the following organ systems: integumentary, skeletal, muscular, lymphatic and immune, nervous and special senses, endocrine, circulatory, respiratory, urinary, digestive, and reproductive. Prerequisite(s): Completion of BIOL& 211 (formerly BIOL 201) and CHEM& 121 (formerly CHEM 120) or CHEM& 161 (formerly CHEM 142) with a grade or 2.0 or higher. (LAB)
