Description:
-
Sociology is the scientific study of human groups and their social systems. Sociologists study how groups are organized and structured, their character and interaction, how groups change, and their impact on individuals. This idea that we are all profoundly affected by the society in which we live is called the "sociological perspective or imagination", and it is the guidinglight of sociology. Strongly recommend placement in MPC 095 or higher and placement in ENGL 099 or higher. (Formerly SOC 110) SS
