Prerequisite: Passing grade in MPC 090 or placement in MPC 095. This course is intended for non-science majors. The focus is on fundamental topics of chemistry such as; atoms and molecules, periodic table, organic chemistry, biochemistry, and radioactivity. Examples from everyday life, environmental topics, medicine, and biochemistry will be used to illustrate chemical principles.
