1 credit This course highlights the emotional, social, behavioral, and cognitive aspects of living with a chronic illness for the individual directly affected as well as for family and friends. Students have the opportunity and choice to explore how this relates to a specific chronic illness in which they have particular interest. Possible health psychology interventions to help those affected maintain a satisfying quality of life are also addressed. Prerequisite: None
