variable credit Independent study provides the student an opportunity to study an area of interest in health psychology not included in the regular curriculum. (An independent study cannot substitute for or be used to repeat a course offered in the prescribed curriculum.) It is the responsibility of the student to enlist a qualified resource person to guide the independent study.
