2 credits This course explores the current practice of natural medicine across the globe. Students survey traditional healing methods as well as institutional practices of natural therapeutics. Drawing on the historical and philosophical information given the previous two quarters, students gain an understanding of the current political, social and cultural context of natural medicine in each region. The lab cohorts explore the different philosophical and clinical practices of each region and discuss/experience how these complement current naturopathic philosophy and practice.
