2 credits This course provides an opportunity for students to study areas of interest in greater detail than is covered in the regular curriculum. With the aid of a selected resource person, the student may explore any topic within the area of childbirth. The student is responsible for submitting an independent study form to the program chair which includes learning objectives, evaluation method and timeline. Students may study more than one topic, using a separate course number for each topic. Two credits are required in the naturopathic midwifery program. Prerequisites: MW7321 and permission of department chair
