1 credit This class is a combination of lecture, field hours and lab work. The class covers edibility, toxicity and medicinal uses of fungi. In this class you learn where, when and how to find mushrooms in the field as well as what to do with them once you find them. The role of fungi in their ecosystems is also studied. In addition to the course hours required, there are optional field trips arranged. Prerequisite: None
