2 credits This four-hour lab course includes an introduction to principles and fundamentals of resistance training including both a theoretical and practical, hands-on component. Students are expected to participate in the resistance training core activity while also covering the basics of muscle physiology, bioenergetics, biomechanics, training principles (modes and methods), training theory and practical considerations as they pertain to resistance training.
