4 credits This course is part of a two-quarter series covering the foundation formulas in Chinese herbal medicine. This first class focuses on formulas that release the exterior, quell fire, cool blood, drain downwards, drain dampness, dispel wind damp, release food stagnation, clear heat and relieve toxicity, clear summer heat, transform phlegm, relieve cough/wheeze and regulate qi.
