Students will demonstrate knowledge of sound-letter relationships by listening, speaking, reading and writing the English alphabet. They will become familiar with U.S. currency and its value. Participants will recognize common forms of print found in the home and environment. Finally, they will respond to simple one-step directions. Prerequisite: CASAS/ESL appraisal test.
