Introduction to alternative fuel and hybrid electric vehiclesThe student will learn automotive terminology, vehicle safety, handling of high voltage components and specialized tool and equipment usageThe student will become familiar with all major components of typical hybrid powered vehiclesEmergency procedures on hybrid vehicles will be coveredThis course is structured to provide competency-based application of NATEF automotive repair tasks in a working shop environment and will provide students with the background and knowledge to take the ASE certification examinations. Co-requisites: AMM 145 and 151.
