Prerequisite: READ 0302 (R2); ENGL 0302 (W3); MATH 0304 (M3), and enrollment in the Nuclear Medicine Technology Program. A health-related work-based learning experience that enables the student to apply specialized occupational theory, skills, and concepts. Direct supervision is provided by the clinical professional. Emphasis on radiopharmaceuticals and their ideal characteristics, biodistribution, and clinical applications; and the various dosage froms in which they may be dispensed; quality control tests; and their formation and dispensing.
