SU, FA, WI, SP A survey of approaches to assessment, steps in delineation and presentation of client patterns and issues, and decisionmaking procedures for recommending appropriate treatment options for clients. Students become familiar with the use of DSM-IV-TR and multi-axial diagnosis, as well as alternative conceptualizations and approaches, such as family systems assessment. Prerequisite: PSYC515: Psychopathology.
