SP The first in a two-course series on methods used in, and strategies for data analysis for, qualitative research in psychology. This course focuses on the theoretical basis of qualitative traditions such as grounded theory, case studies, biography, phenomenology and ethnography. Particular methods are presented with student presentations. A qualitative study is designed and data collection begins in this course. Computer-aided qualitative data analysis is introduced.
