SU Introduction to a spectrum of therapeutic uses of outdoor experiences, ranging from vision quests to challenge/survival programs. Students have an opportunity to pursue special topics of interest as well as to participate in planning and facilitation of scheduled field experiences. Prerequisite: Good health. Please clear any health concerns with instructor before registering. Prior experience in outdoor activities not required, but students must be able to hike several miles with a backpack and be able to participate in ropes course activities. Group gear for trips is provided. Students are responsible for their own personal gear, a share of food and transportation costs and ropes course fees.
