WI The role of assessment in the diagnosis, treatment and follow up with children, adolescents and their families including theoretical bases and ethical/multicultural considerations. This skills class emphasizes both formal and informal assessment methods. Clinical activities include conducting assessments, formulating findings, writing reports and communicating treatment recommendations. Prerequisites: PSYC725: Lifespan Development I - Child, PSYC711: Assessment: Intelligence Testing, PSYC717: Assessment: Integration, PSYC770: Child and Family Systems: Overview and/or consent of instructor.
