Students study the history and contributions of lesbians, gay, bisexual and transgender people through the multidisciplinary lenses of the social sciences, psychology, literature and through students' own stories and experiences. Students examine the roots of hetero-centrism and homophobia in this culture and the effects they have had on all lives regardless of sexual orientations.
