FA Focuses on the development of the individual (child, adolescent, adult) within family and multi-systemic systems. Students review clinical interventions that foster strength and resiliency within individuals and systems that are developmentally appropriate and sensitive to issues of race, culture, economic class and gender. Relevant ethical issues and public policy are addressed. Prerequisites: PSYC719: Theories: Systems Perspectives in Family Therapy and PSYC725: Lifespan Development I: Child or the equivalent.
