Requires the demonstration and practice of the skills of a police officer including patrol, driving, traffic stop skills, use of force, mechanics of arrest, firearm safety, and emergency medical care. This is a TCLEOSE-approved sequencing course to satisfy requirements to sit for the Basic Peace Officer licensure exam in addition to obtaining an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree and approval of the department chair.
