This course is an introductory clinical for learning basic echocardiography skills. Students will observe, assist, and begin to gain hands-on experience in clinical. Emphasis will be placed on instrumentation, transducer handling, patient positioning, image orientation, and identification of anatomic structures found in basic echocardiographic views.
