Continuation of Medical-Surgical Nursing I with application of the nursing process to the care of adult and geriatric patients experiencing cardiovascular, neurosensory, endocrine, and oncological medicalsurgical conditions in the health-illness continuum. Includes a variety of health care settings. Learning Outcomes: The student will identify the components of the health-illness continuum; identify prevalent cardiovascular, neurosensory, endocrine, and oncological medical surgical conditions affecting the adult and gerian and utilize the nursing process to assist in developing a plan of care for selected medical-surgical conditions.
