This course presents fundamental concepts of contract law with emphasis on the paralegal's role. Topics include formation, performance, and enforcement of contracts under the common law and the Uniform Commercial Code. The student will learn to define and properly use contract law terminology; locate, describe and analyze sources of law relating to contract law; understand the ethical obligations of the paralegal and draft documents commonly used in contract law.
