An intermediate type of health professions workbased instruction that helps students synthesize new knowledge, apply previous knowledge, or gain experience managing the workflow. Practical experience is simultaneously related to theory. Close and/or direct supervision is provided by the clinical professional (faculty or preceptor), generally in a clinical setting. Clinical education is an unpaid learning experience. A method of instruction providing detailed education, training and work-based experiences and direct patient/client care, generally at a clinical site. Concurrent theory enrollment is required in RNSG 2213. (3 lab hours per week). Prerequisites: RNSG 1441. Corequisites: RNSG 2213 [ CIP51.1601]
