One hour credit. Application of principles of journalism to the production of student publications. Skills involved include news reporting and writing, newspaper make-up, photography, typography, editing and publication design. Three semester hours credit in COMM 1129 are required of all journalism majors. May be repeated for credit but not more than three semester hours may be applied toward graduation. Prerequisite: Completion of COMM 1318, COMM 2305 or COMM 2311. Two lab hours each week. Lab fee.
