Three hours credit. This course is designed to give the student a scientific approach to the study of the psychological development of a child. The principal theme is the interplay of biological factors, human interaction, social structure, and of the cultural forces in the shaping of the growing child. In scope it will treat the influences on development from earliest in-utero environment through early childhood to the threshold of adolescence. Three lecture hours each week.
