Exploration of leadership and management principles applicable to the role of the nurse as a provider of care, coordinator of care, and member of a profession. Includes application of knowledge, judgment, skills, and professional values within a legal/ethical framework. This course emphasizes leadership and management theories, personal qualities, and tasks necessary to positively influence patient care and outcomes of the health care facility.
