Four hours credit. An introduction to the basic principles of electrical systems of diesel powered equipment with emphasis on starters, alternators, batteries, and regulators. The students will perform circuit analysis; identify electrical symbols; use specials tools; and test circuits. Prerequisites or concurrent enrollment in: MATH 0310 and REDG 0310. Three lecture and two lab hours each week. Lab fee.
