Three hours credit. A study of the principles and devices for the measurement of control variables such as temperature, pressure, flow, level, and basic control functions. The student will demonstrate the fundamentals of tubing layout and bending; apply the principles of process instruments and devices; and describe the control loop as applied to control and detection of pressure, temperature, level, flow, etc. Three lecture hours each week. Prerequisite Associate of Applied Science in Electromechanical Technology. Lab fee.
